Housing

Gammon Theological Seminary offers a range of year-round housing options, from dormitory housing at Gammon Hall to family housing at The Willis J. King Apartment Complex. Both Gammon Hall and Willis J. King are owned by Gammon Seminary, so Gammon students are given first housing option. The other seminaries students, graduate students in the Atlanta University Center and undergrad are given housing priority as listed.

Living on campus can be a rewarding experience; learning often takes place on walks to class, living rooms, hallways and elevators. Just walking distance to Downtown Atlanta, Georgia Dome, West End Mall and World Congress Center.

Housing Availabilty

The Willis J. King Apartment Complex offers four (4) different size furnished apartment units; efficiency (studio), one bedroom, two bedrooms and three bedrooms. The units include living room sofa, chair, coffee table, end table, desk, dining table and chairs, bedroom dresser, mirror, nite stand and queen sides bed for all units and twin bed for second and third bedrooms. Laundry facilities are located on each floor.  A computer center is located in the lobby area for student residence. Utilities are included in the housing cost. You may purchase telephone, cable and internet directory from the company of your choice.  All students that seek housing must complete a housing application. Students will be notified when space is available.

Parking

Residence may purchase a parking permit to park inside the facilities gate. Visitors and guest must park in non-gated lot.  All vehicles must be operating and display current tags. Residences are encouraged to check parking restrictions and yellow lines. Vehicles illegally parked will be towed.

Pets

Fish and birds are the only type pets permitted.

Persons who need special accommodations should notify the housing office and complete the medical needs section of the application.

Dormitory Availability

Gammon Hall features single dorm room with shared bath (your neighbor), single dorm room with private bath and double room with private bath.  Housing priority is given to Gammon student, seminarians, graduate student and undergrad order. All rooms are furnished with long twin bed, desk and clothes chest.  The rooms are provided with internet with given codeThe laundry facility is located on the first floor (basement). This facility also houses the Cokesbury Books Store, where many of the classroom books can be purchased. You may purchase telephone and cable directly from the company of your choice. All students must complete and application. Students will be notified when space is available.

Parking

Parking is available on the street in front of the dormitory or through the ITC -404/527-7759 or 404/527-7720.  Students are encouraged to check parking signs.

Pets
